That price must be a mistake. Only Oskar Blues' Ten Fidy and Gordon are sold in 4 packs (and are quite expensive due to the reason mentioned-- more ingredients in those beers). Dale's and Old Chub come in six packs. You should be able to get them for $8.99 if you look around (Sherry's in Woodley Park has them at that price). Love Dale's.

I love Dale's. And the thing I love about it the most is that I can't get over a beer that tasty coming in a CAN! Maybe novelty is the reason they think they can charge that much! I don't pay that, though. I am just guessing...

I'm not sure they do for dales. I was there earlier and the one in Old Town wasn't asking that much. And I'm fairly sure my beermonger at Rick's Wine and Gourmet might be willing to part with a 12 pack for a bit above that price.

The only thing I've seen at the high price ranger is Ten Fidy which is their high end imperial stout and Gordon's which is there double IPA... meaning twice hops and malt... equals more alcohol.

As for the price of Dales and Gordons, it might be because of issues of with hop in addition to demand. Hop prices of late... 600% over the last year or so. So it may be that highly hopped beers like Dales might be passing on the price.

I love Dale's, but does Whole Foods really charge $17 for a 4 pack? That is an incredible rip-off. My local liquor store in Mt. Pleasant sells a six-pack for 10 bucks. Still not cheap, obviously.
