Enzo Algarme and Anastasiya Laufenberg weren’t kidding when they said they know pizzas. The Pupatella Food Cart– slang for doll in Naples– is a reference to Enzo’s grandmother, who inspired his love of cooking. I went today for lunch and had a delicious margherita pie. For having been open a week and making due with a standard oven, they’re turing out an impressive thin crust that’s well done but not too brittle, a glaze of sauce with a hint of sweetness and the standard buffalo mozzarella, and basil. Yum.
