Homemade Corned Beef at Tunnicliff’s

Posted by melissamccart on February 18, 2007

reuben.jpgWhen Pam the Butcher left Brookeville, I would imagine that fans of her corned beef were apoplectic.  Apparently, hers was legendary.  Now that her corned beef isn’t available, where do people go for good corned beef to make reuben sandwiches?

Last night, a friend told me that the one at Tunnicliff’s is outstanding and that they made their own corned beef.  I called this morning to confirm it, so I’m heading over to try it for myself.

Any other corned beef or reuben recommendations?  (Next on the list is Restaurant Kolumbia’s Corned Beef on Kimmelweck, I think.)

Tunnicliff’s. 222 7th Street S.E.
